The Tioga County Fair, in Owego, N.Y., welcomed guests to the fairgrounds today, free of charge, for the Sire Stakes, and for the 4H animal load in – which continued throughout the day.
The Sire Stakes welcomed horses, their owners and their drivers for an afternoon filled with Harness Racing. The fair board made sure to thank Tioga Downs for their assistance with this yearly tradition at the fairgrounds at Marvin Park in Owego.
The barns were bustling throughout the day as 4H participants arrived with their animals for vet inspections and placement in the barns.
The judging for the arts and crafts submitted was conducted today. Guests can visit the Arts & Crafts Barn at the fair to view the exhibits throughout the week.

Tomorrow will also feature the Dash for Cash, Live Music by Hummel’s Jug, and the main event, the Painted Pony Championship Rodeo, which begins at 7 p.m.
And don’t forget, the $10 gate fee includes all of the rides, grandstand shows, and entry into the fair.
