Tompkins Cortland Community College has announced academic recognitions for the Spring 2019 semester. The Dean’s List includes 296 and the President’s Citation was awarded to 36 students.
The Dean’s List recognizes matriculated students who have demonstrated high academic achievement by attaining a GPA of 3.5 or better while completing at least 12 credit hours during the semester. For part-time matriculated students, they are eligible each time they complete a block of 12 hours with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
The President’s Citation is the highest academic honor available to a Tompkins Cortland student. The President’s Citation is granted only once to students who are matriculated in a program of study, have completed at least 30 credit hours in residence, and have earned an overall grade point average of 3.8 or better.
In Tioga County, the following students were named to the Dean’s List.
In Barton, Grace Manwaring and Stormy Young; in Berkshire, Susan Armstrong, Alanna Biata, and Denise Lopez; in Candor, Samuel Hatton and Jessica Shawley; in Newark Valley, Stephanie Tennant and Scott Umiker, in Owego, Brett Lyons and Luke Reeves; in Richford, Amber Riggs; in Spencer, Natasha Galliher, Honor Meyerhoff, and Brian Vadala; in Van Etten, Kierstin Bamford and Jennifer Davie; in Waverly, Khloie Garrison; and in Willseyville, Diane Carr, Amanda Reinard, Nicole Swansbrough, and Jediah Tau.
