Chemung Canal Trust Company closes Oakdale Mall office

Chemung Canal Trust Company (CCTC) recently announced that it has closed its branch office located inside the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City. Customers of the office have previously received communications from the bank regarding the details of the transition, and their accounts have now been consolidated into CCTC’s Vestal Office.

The bank reported that no employees lost their jobs as a result of the closing, and customers will be able to take advantage of a drive-thru at the Vestal Office that features extended hours which run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.  

Other Chemung Canal branches in the area include 127 Court St. in downtown Binghamton, as well as 1054 State Route 17C and 203 Main St. in Owego.

Chemung Canal Trust Company, which operates 34 branch offices, is a full-service community bank with full trust powers, and is a subsidiary of Chemung Financial Corporation, a $1.8 billion financial services holding company headquartered in Elmira, New York.
