The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce and the Tioga Employment Center have partnered with the Owego Apalachin Central School District to host a career day for the middle and high school students on Thursday, March 29. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
According to a press release received from the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce, the focus of the event is to foster the students’ knowledge of area businesses and the varied careers that are offered within our region. Ensuring that students are well prepared for the world awaiting them and guiding their preparation toward workplace success in any field is one way that the schools and businesses can work together.
The commitment to the best education possible happens with supportive community partnerships that include students, parents, schools and businesses.
