Thanksgiving was at its best on Family Volunteer Day at the Bassett Ah-Wa-Ga Center in Owego, N.Y.
The Board of Directors of the Charles H. Bassett Youth Foundation celebrated Family Volunteer Day on Nov. 18 in Owego by donating over $200 of Thanksgiving food items and decorating and filling 12 Gift Bags to give to needy senior citizens through the Department of Aging at Tioga Opportunities.
This yearly service project brings family members of all ages together to help others in the community.
