Homeschooling information meeting in Owego on June 29

Are you interested in homeschooling your children? Do you have questions on how to do this? Are you wondering about “socializing” your homeschooled children? What is the cost? How do you fill in the paperwork? What about testing? What types of curriculum do I use? What events / programs are in the area?

There will be an informational meeting on Thursday evening, June 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Marvin Park in Owego in the pavilion. Look for the LEAH sign.

LEAH stands for Loving Education At Home and is a State run organization to give support to families choosing to homeschool in New York State. There is an active AGAPE LEAH of Tioga County willing to serve offer support for the 2017-18 school year.

If you are wondering about this type of education for your child, then come and get some answers on how to make this a possibility. Free pizza will be available.

Contact Melvin Foster for more information via email to candorite@gmail.com or by calling (607) 659-4785. Actual membership for AGAPE LEAH will take place in early August.
