OLL is the heart of our community. OLL needs a writer to establish a written record of recent OLL’s history that can be useful to the league and its members and to the local community, as these histories are interconnected.

You’ll document the history so that this valuable knowledge can be preserved for the future. You’ll cover important events and achievements that have occurred over the past 15 years.

OLL Baseball, Tee Ball, Girls Softball and Teener League Baseball is an organization designed to build good citizens. It is a program of leadership, preparing today’s Owego Apalachin Central School District youth to be tomorrow’s leaders.

OLL relies on a devoted legion of adult volunteers to help ensure that the organization remains structured and runs smoothly. As a volunteer, you should have a keen interest in the safety, wellbeing, and overall development of children. The benefits are endless.

Anyone can apply to become a volunteer. Whatever skills or talents you have, OLL can use them. Volunteers are grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, retirees, community leaders, former Little Leaguers, friends, neighbors and more. Any community member who wishes to become a volunteer may apply. All parents of children involved are strongly encouraged to volunteer.

General OLL information and updates from Webmaster Eric Hawkins can be found online at www.eteamz.com/owego. Little League-Williamsport maintains their website at www.littleleague.org. On this site you can read “Becoming a Little League Volunteer” and “Volunteer Opportunities”.
