The Black Cat Gallery invites the public to enjoy music and view the work of four new artists for the First Friday Art Event on Nov. 6.

The First Friday in November, from 6 to 9 p.m., the Black Cat Gallery is featuring the music of Rob Seigers and Company playing popular music from the 60’s and 70’s, including bluegrass and contemporary tunes. R.J. is versatile and original on the 5-string banjo, having traveled with the banjo throughout North America, Scandinavia and Ireland, which has profoundly influenced his music.

The Black Cat is also proud to feature four new artists in November.

Ashley Vanfossen creates beautiful works of nature, working in oils and mixed mediums. Ashley’s artwork consists of mountains, pine and birch trees with geometric shapes that balance one another in an amazing way.

Amy Miles’ artistic focus is with plants and animals, creating scenes of small common animals that reflect a story. Amy draws charming little creatures that will capture your heart and make you smile.

Aaron Bennett works with pen and ink and has created wonderful whimsical and pensive illustrative animal drawings. Influenced by nature, Aaron’s work is thought provoking.
