River Road Expo is a comic and pop culture convention, and will be held at Tioga Downs on Sunday, Oct. 18 from noon to 5 p.m. Fans can meet both professional and self-published writers and artists. There will be vendors and fan groups also at the expo. Admission is free for all ages.
Bob McLeod is an award winner artist whose work includes Amazing Spider-Man, Action Comics, GI Joe, Howard the Duck, Star Wars and more.
Khoi Pham’s artwork can be seen in issues of Mighty Avengers, Gambit, Daredevil, Cyberforce and more.
Author Sean Lewis is an award winning playwright and a guest commentator on NPR’s This American Life. Saints is his first comic book, published through Image comics.
Alex Sanchez illustrated the comic adaptation of James Patterson’s Max Ride: First Flight series. He also illustrated Marvel’s Elektra, and DC’s Katana series.
Also appearing at River Road Expo is Mike Raicht, Ken Wheaton, Kristen Gudsnuk, Mike Garland, Geoff Munn and TL Collins. They are all published professional creators.
Tioga Downs is located on River Road in Nichols, N.Y. All ages are welcome to this fun, free admission event.
