The Vestal Community Chorus will be hosting Open House events for potential new members on Sept. 21 and Sept. 28. All voices will be welcomed and they extend a special invitation to past members to come join them.
This harmonious group of approximately 30 members consists of singers from the Southern Tier. The ages of its members range from high school students through senior citizens.
The musical selections are varied, providing an “easy listening” result. The chorus, now 30 years old, performs two concerts each year, one in early December, and one in the spring.
Rehearsals, including the two Open House events, will be held at the former Central Junior High School (near Four Corners in Vestal). There is parking behind the building. Enter via the ramp or by the stairs, and the rehearsal room will be at your immediate right. Rehearsals will begin at 7 p.m.
