July 2015 marked the 20th anniversary of the Newark Valley Chapter #1036 of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). To celebrate, the Chapter held an Open House and sent out invitations to all 125 previous members.
Three of the original 11 Charter members were present to include Connie McMichael, Karen Messersmith and Daisy Webber. Daisy is the current Leader of the Chapter and she welcomed guests and made several presentations to various members of the Chapter.
Their area Captain, Daniel Bunce from Bath, N.Y. was present, and surprised Daisy with several awards including her 5-year Keeping Off Pounds Sensibly (KOPS) pin and a charter member pin.
