The U-pick strawberry season is here and started on Monday, June 22 at Our Green Acres located at 3965 Waverly Rd. in Owego, N.Y., where growing and picking strawberries has been a tradition since the 1960’s.
Our Green Acres is open for Strawberry picking Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon, they are closed on Friday, they are open on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
Farm stand hours are Monday through Saturday from 1 to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
You can also find Our Green Acres at area Farmer’s Markets, including Owego on Tuesday’s and Friday’s from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Rite Aid parking lot.
