Hailing from Sidney, N.Y., the Woodshed Prophets are a quartet of bearded wild men, hell-bent on world domination or self-destruction, whichever comes first. This regional favorite will be performing at Owego’s Strawberry Festival on the main stage in the courthouse square on Saturday, June 20 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
The Prophets primarily play original material, a unique blend of rock and country (or “power twang” as they’ve been tagged by friends and fans).
Their second studio album, Nowhere But Down, was released in September 2013.
Members include Rob Stachyra – lead guitar and vocals, Dan Hardy – guitar and vocals, Ed Gliha – bass and vocals, and Dan “Bird-Dog” Dunham – drums and vocals.
