Tioga County 4-H’ers participate in 4-H Public Presentation Day

Each year Tioga County 4-H members have the opportunity to develop a public presentation for Public Presentation Day. The 4-H’ers attend workshops to learn how to prepare a presentation, practice their skills in club meetings and at home, and prepare themselves to be evaluated on their efforts. This year, 51 members participated in the annual event.

The following are the categories, youth and their presentation titles:

SENIOR HORSE COMMUNICATIONS (youth 13 to 19 years old) – Marlie Lukach, Berkshire Broncos 4-H Club, Equine Nutrition.

Twenty presenters and one Horse Communications presenter from the junior, senior, and horse groups are eligible to represent Tioga County 4-H at the 4-H District Public Presentation event in Chenango Forks on March 21 where they will be evaluated alongside 4-H presenters from eight other New York counties. From the district event, 4-H presenters will be selected to move on to the state level event. The 4-H members representing Tioga County at the District Presentation event are:

Junior Gold Seal Award presenters: Megan Henry, Tammy Perrotta and Broderick Hines.

Junior Blue Award presenters: Jenna O’Connell, Rachel Brennan, Owen Huizinga, Rosaria Hines and Layla Etienne.

Senior Gold Seal Award presenters: Marta Lengyel and Leah O’Connell.

Senior Blue Award presenters: Hailey Cornelius, Morgan Seamans, Megan Holloway, Emily Henry, Megan Klett, Cassie Hollenbeck, Trenton Perrotta, Dylan Hartman, Staci Greene and Becky Miles.

Marlie Lukach is eligible to represent Tioga County at the district event in 4-H Horse Communications.
