At the organizational meeting of the Tioga County Legislature, held Jan. 2, Martha C. Sauerbrey was appointed Chair of the Legislature for a second term. Raymond Case, who represents District #5 was appointed as Deputy Chair.
Sauerbrey represents the constituents in District #2 in the Village of Owego, and parts of the Town of Owego. She was first elected to the legislature in 2005.
Tioga County Legislative members include Raymond P. Case, District #5; Ed Hollenbeck, District #7; Richard L. Huttleston, District #1; Tracy Monell, District #4; Michael Roberts, District #3; Martha Sauerbrey, District #2; William Standinger, District #7; and Dale Weston, District #6.
