Fox Street resident charged for drug sales

On May 12, 2015, the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office concluded an investigation of illegal narcotics sales on Fox Street in the Village of Owego. Joseph M. Farrow, a 33 year Fox Street resident, was taken into custody without incident on Temple Street and arrested for two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd degree, class B felonies.

Sheriff’s Office Investigators then executed a search warrant at Farrow’s residence on Fox Street and recovered a quantity of heroin, marihuana, and drug packaging materials from the residence.

In addition to the two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd degree, Farrow was charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree (class A misdemeanor), one count of criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd degree (class A misdemeanor), and unlawful possession of marihuana (a violation).

Farrow was arraigned in the Village of Owego Court in front of Justice Lynn Craig and remanded to the Tioga County Jail on the District Attorney’s Office recommendation of no bail.

At the time of his arrest, Farrow was free from the Tioga County Jail on $50,000 bond and awaiting trial on a previous felony charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd degree.
