Menhennett added, “I entered this year’s race because candidates from one party go unchallenged, election cycle after election cycle. Unfortunately, one party rule is a good indicator that democracy is in jeopardy, especially when it continues at the local level. I want to represent all the residents of District 1 because their issues are my issues, and their concerns are my concerns. As a Tioga County Legislator, I will work for fair taxation and toward the expansion of public services through consolidation. It is time for the residents of District 1, and all Tioga County residents, to stop paying more for less!” To learn more about Cecilia Menhennett’s campaign, Follow her on Facebook or send an email to cm4tcleg@gmail.com.
