Historic Marker to be unveiled

The public is invited to attend a brief ceremony for the unveiling of a historic marker on Tuesday, June 21, at 11 a.m. in Lounsberry, denoting the history of the area. The marker is actually a duplicate of one that was originally installed in the 1930’s, but was destroyed by a car in the 1970’s.

Traveling west on Route 17, take the Lounsberry Exit (63) and at the end of the exit ramp, turn right on Stanton Hill for a short distance and then left on East River Road for one-half mile. The sign is on the right side of the road. Park in the Old Depot Road Access directly across from the new sign.
