Tioga County veterans are being asked to share their personal experiences if involved in the following Campaigns of Courage.

The 25th Anniversary of the Persian Gulf War and the liberation of Kuwait Feb. 27, 2016; Operation Desert Storm’s defeat of Iran in a ground war that lasted 100 hours; FDR orders General Douglas MacArthur to leave the Philippines Feb. 222, 1942; U.S. forces liberate 2,147 prisoners at the Los Banos Japanese Internment Camp in the Philippines Feb. 23, 1945; U.S. Marines raise the American flag atop Mt. Suribachi, Iwo Jima, Feb. 23, 1945; the Battle of the Java Sea begins Feb. 27, 1942; the Battle of the Bismark Sea begins March 2, 1943; U.S. Eighth Air Force planes attack Berlin for the first time March 4, 1945; the Remagen Bridge is captured by US troops March 7, 1945; and General Douglas McArthur leaves the Philippines 1942.
