The Owego Pennysaver, during the weeks of Dec. 27 and Jan. 3, and ending on Jan. 7, will be collecting to assist the homeless animals at Stray Haven Humane Society. With the holidays underway, we want to help the homeless animals in need.
Needed at the shelter is cat food (Purina Cat Chow is preferred), pate style canned cat food, dog Food (Pedigree brand only), clumping cat litter, gift cards to Walmart, Lowe’s or Wegmans, bleach, laundry soap (Gain), trash bags (39-gallon size of 13-gallon tall), paper towels, and Mr. Clean floor cleaner (no PineSol or pine-scented).
You can drop donations off between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday (closed on New Year’s Day) at The Owego Pennysaver office located at 181 Front St. in Owego.
