A Chronicle Poem

(A Chronicle Poem)

Mom and Dad

Man and wife,

Share a treasure

All their life.

Aeliana Honoré

Dark haired beauty

Came this day,

Five twenty eight

Sunday morn

Unfolding, revealing

She was born.

Eight pounds, one ounce

Twenty inches long,

Traveled all night

Arrived before dawn.

Star from heaven

Visits earth,

Golden girl

Precious birth.

Looks around

Likes us too,

Silent questions,

Asked of you.

A treasure for us all

To keep,

Smiles and snuggles

In her sleep.

Aeliana Honoré

In this world

And on her way.
