Expanded assistance is now available through the Tioga County Commercial Facade Improvement Loan Program with interest rates at zero percent for up to 90 percent of the total project cost.
Funding up to $20,000 is available to complete exterior renovations of commercial properties within the downtown “Main Street” areas of Tioga County. Funds can be used to replace doors and windows, repair visible exterior façades along with roof repairs, decks, stairways and upgrade of signage, lighting and awnings.

Also available is the Tioga County Industrial Development Agency Loan Program that features low cost loans up to $100,000 for working capital, buildings, real estate and machinery and equipment. The interest rate is 5 percent, with terms ranging from three to ten years.
