The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to a special ribbon cutting for Home Central on Thursday, May 14, at 11 a.m. at 199 Stage Rd. in Vestal, N.Y.
The Home Central in Vestal has been in business for 30 years and has undergone major renovations recently to become a Destination True Value. This is a special designation that requires a location to re-merchandise and refurbish according to detailed True Value specifications.
The store has undergone a variety of changes that should prove beneficial for their customers. There are improved product assortments, new signage, and other changes to make the store more shopper-friendly as well as an overall brighter appearance.
In addition to the ribbon cutting on Thursday, Home Central will have a Renovation Celebration on Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be prizes, discounts and lots of fun.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
