Tioga Opportunities, Inc. (TOI) is pleased to announce applications are being accepted for the Community Garden located at 9 Sheldon Guile Blvd. in Owego (located at the Countryside Community Center).
TOI and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County will be offering gardening instruction sessions throughout the growing season. Sessions will be posted at the Community Garden and on the TOI website, as well as Cornell Cooperation Extension of Tioga County’s website (tioga.cce.cornell.edu) when times and days are confirmed.
There is no fee for the use of the Community Garden. TOI does request a small portion of your harvest be donated back to TOI, which will be distributed to local food pantries and soup kitchens.
