The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled its breakfast edition of “Bite-Sized Pursuits” on Citizen Preparedness for Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Owego Treadway Inn. This seminar had been cancelled due to inclement weather.
The American Red Cross, in partnership with the New York State Citizens Preparedness Corps will present Prepare, Respond, Recover: What to Do When Disaster Strikes.
The program lasts about one hour and provides a comprehensive overview on how to prepare for natural and man-made disasters, and how to respond to and recover from them.
A light breakfast will be served and reservations are requested. The cost is $8 for chamber members and $10 for non-members.
