Would you like to learn how to protect, nurture and help wild animals and birds? Join Waterman Conservation Education Center on March, 13 from 1 to 3 p.m., and gain knowledge on how to care for orphaned, injured or sick wild animals with the ultimate intention of releasing the animal back into its natural habitat.

Carole LaPlante has rehabilitated animals for over 30 years. She will introduce you to the role of a wildlife rehabilitator, how to become a rehabilitator, how to know when and if to rescue, what to do and not to do to help an animals in distress, human health concerns in the process of helping a wild animal and much more.

This class is for anyone who loves and cares about wildlife. Time will be left at the end for questions, and registration is recommended. Call Waterman Center at 625-2221 for more information and to register. The cost is $5 for members, and $7 for non-members.
