Tuetken Named All-Region

TC3 women's basketball player Michelle Tuetken (Newark Valley H.S./Berkshire) has been named to the NJCAA Region III all-region third team. She was one of a total of 16 players were honored on three teams.
Tuetken, a sophomore business administration major, had previously been named to the Mid-State Athletic Conference all-conference team. She played in 26 games, leading the team in scoring eight times while averaging 12.1 points per game. She was the team leader and 11th in the nation in assists (5.2 per game) and 12th in the nation in three-point percentage (41%).
Tuetken is the fourth TC3 women's basketball player ever honored with all-region recognition, and the first since the 2003-04 season.
