The Tioga County Sheriff ~ Ashley L. Spencer, age 21, of 1177 College Ave., Elmira, NY was arrested on 02/27/10 at 2:00 AM for driving while ability impaired by alcohol and drugs-a warrant out of Chemung County. These charges resulted from a vehicle stop in the Village of Waverly where Spencer was a passenger. The defendant was turned over to the Chemung County Sheriff ~ Melissa R. Humphrey, age 42, of 82 Old Barton Rd., Barton, NY was arrested on 02/26/10 at 6:54 PM for failure to appear in front of the Village of Elmira Heights court on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, seventh degree charges. These charges resulted from a bench warrant being issued by the Village of Elmira Heights Court. Humphrey was turned over to Elmira Heights Police Department. ~ Kevin D. Tyreman, age 21, of 18 Tudor Dr., Endicott, NY was arrested on 03/01/10 at 9:32 AM, in the Town of Owego for charges of AUO 3rd, no turn signal, and no insurance. These charges resulted from a stop on Rt. 434 for Tyreman no using a turn signal. Tyreman is to appear in Town of Owego Court before Justice Bell on 03/16/10. ~ Amy L. Romig-Smith, of 45 1/2 Temple St., Owego, NY was arrested on 02/28/10 at 5:03 PM for Family Court act violations. This charge resulted from an arrest warrant issued out of the Tioga County Family Court. The defendant was arraigned before Justice Smith of the Town of Newark Valley Court and was remanded to Tioga County Jail on $1,000 bail. Romig-Smith is scheduled to reappear in the Tioga County Family Court in front of Justice Sgueglia on 3/01/10. ~ Michael R. Poquette, age 34, of 84 Paige St., Apt.1, Owego, NY was arrested on 02/28/10 at 6:44 PM for Family Court Act Violations. These charges resulted from an arrest warrant issued out of the Tioga County Family Court. The defendant was arraigned before Justice Henning of the Town of Owego Court and was remanded to Tioga County Jail on $20,000 bail, $40,000 bond. Poquette is scheduled to reappear in the Tioga County Family Court in front of Justice Sgueglia on 3/01/10. ~ Brandon T. Kozakowski, age 27, of 2202 Tracy St., Endicott, NY was arrested on 02/28/10 at 7:41 PM, in the Town of Owego for Driving while registration suspended, AUO 3rd. These charges resulted from Brandon being stopped for suspended registration following a hit by the license plate reader on St. Rt. 17C in the Town of Owego. Brandon was found to have a suspended N.Y. State Drivers License for Administrative reasons. Brandon was issued appearance tickets to appear in Town of Owego Court, before Justice Ron Bell on 03/23/10. ~ John A. Graham, age 32, of 610 Lower Fairfield Rd., Newark Valley, NY was arrested on 02/27/10 at 7:20 PM in the Town of Candor for charges of 3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and One Count of Harassment 2nd. These charges resulted from a investigation of a domestic incident occurring in the Town of Candor during which Graham struck and choked a female while in the presence of three children. Graham was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Candor Court, before Justice Gary Dence on 03/08/10. ~ Leslie D. Williams, age 47, of 68 S. Apalachin Rd., Apalachin, NY was arrested on 03/02/10 at 5:50 PM for Endangering a Welfare of a Child and Harassment 2nd. These charges resulted from an investigation into a domestic dispute where Leslie allegedly pushed a 15 year old female into a door frame causing a welt on the side of her head and then pushed the 15 year old female into the kitchen table. Leslie was arrested at the Tioga County Sheriff ~ Leslie D. Williams, age 47, of 68 S. Apalachin Rd., Apalachin, NY was arrested on 03/02/10 at 5:50 PM for Endangering a Welfare of a Child and Harassment 2nd. These charges resulted from an investigation into a domestic dispute where Leslie allegedly pushed a 15 year old female into a door frame causing a welt on the side of her head and then pushed the 15 year old female into the kitchen table.
