Did you miss OLL three player signups? A last chance sign up will be held on March 18 from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Tioga County Office Building located at 56 Main St. in Owego. Player Agent Karen Vinti and her registration team will be there for "Make up Registration" for Little League Tee Ball and Baseball, ASA Girls Softball and Teener Baseball. League officials say this will be the final chance to signup for the 2010 season. Find signup details on the OLL Homepage

All OLL managers and coaches must be certified in First Aid Training to ensure the safety of the children in the program. Certified Owego Emergency Squad members will conduct the annual training in CPR, First Aid and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator). This is a requirement for OLL’s Safety Plan. First Aid Safety Training Day is March 13 starting at 9 a.m. at the Owego Central Fire Station on North Avenue in Owego.

OLL enforces all 13 requirements. They are: 1) Safety Officer. 2) Published safety manual 3) Post and Distribute Emergency and Key Officials Phone Numbers 4) Little League Official Volunteer Application Form and check for sexual abuse. 5) Fundamental training in hitting, sliding, fielding, pitching. 6) First Aid Training. 7) Coaches/umpires walk fields for hazards before use. 8) Annual OLL Facility Survey. 9) Written Safety Procedures for Concession Stand. 10) Regular inspection and replacement of equipment. 11) Prompt Accident Reporting and Tracking Procedure. 12) Require a first aid kit at each game and practice. 13) Enforce Little League rules at each game and practice.
On March 20, at 9 a.m., and Indoor Baseball Clinic will be held at OAMS, and the Indoor Girls Softball Clinic will also take place at 9 a.m. at OES.
On March 27, and Outdoor Baseball Clinic will be held at 1 p.m. at Hyde Park.
