The committee organizing Guthrie's Eighth Annual Golf for Guthrie Hospice Tournament is seeking local and regional business and individual sponsorships. The tournament will be held June 25, and is title-sponsored for the fifth year by Williams Auto Group.
The mission of the tournament is to raise funds for Guthrie Hospice to enhance and support Hospice programs and services. The tournament has been successful in raising more than $188,000 since its inception. All proceeds from the tournament benefit Guthrie Hospice, which provides end-of-life services for patients throughout the region regardless of ability to pay, and offers bereavement services in the community.
Long-time tournament supporter Keck’s Food Service, Inc. will sponsor the Awards Luncheon, and a wide variety of sponsorship opportunities remain available, including: Presenting Sponsors, Special Friend of Hospice Sponsors (new this year), Hospice Caring Sponsors, and Friends of Hospice, as well as beverage cart, hole signs and raffle prize sponsors. Sponsorships are available in many dollar amounts or as in-kind donations. Sponsors receive a range of benefits depending on sponsorship level, including the opportunity to field a foursome in the tournament, inclusion in the event program, and raffle tickets. In addition, gifts in memory of a loved one are also accepted.
The Golf for Hospice Tournament will take place at The Club at Shepard Hills on Friday, June 25. For a complete list of sponsorship opportunities, to pledge a sponsorship, or for more information, call Guthrie Resource Development at 570-882-5293 or visit www.guthrie.org.
