Front and Center on Front Street is proud to announce they will be featuring Maggy-Pierre Pelissier Gregoire for Owego’s Third Friday Art Walk planned for Friday, March 19. Maggy was born in Algheria and moved to France when she was ten years old. She studied at the School of Fine Arts in Grenoble. In 1986, Maggy moved to California and taught art in Cupertino and Palo Alto schools. Maggy illustrated her first children’s book, "The Monkey and the Crocodile", and is currently working on a new one. She has traveled to China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, South America, Europe and more. Those journeys inspired and influenced the creation of the "Geisha Collection," the collection that will be on display on Friday at Front and Center Café and Store.
