Owego Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Past Board President Laura Costello and Board Members Al Bingley and Annette Schweiger presented Binghamton Rotarian Dr. Samuel Pejo with a check for $2,500 to be used for the repair of cleft palettes on underprivileged children in the Philippines.
Dr. Pejo performs the surgeries annually with his team of doctors. Dr. Pejo has been flying to the Philippines for more than thirty years now.

Fourteen teams will compete in the prestigious 15th Annual 12U Owego Baseball Tournament on Hyde Park’s four diamonds from Monday, July 19, through Saturday, July 31. Teams from four contiguous Twin Tiers counties will proudly represent their communities.
Broome has six teams-Binghamton, West Corners, Johnson City A and three from Vestal - Vestal A, B, and C. Tompkins has three – Ithaca A, Ithaca B and Dragons B. Bradford, Pa., has Athens A. Tioga has four teams – Waverly, Northern Tioga, Nichols and host Owego B.
