The public is invited.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">On Palm Sunday, April 2, the 10 a.m. worship service will celebrate Jesus\u2019 triumphant entry into Jerusalem. All worshipers will be given Eco-palms from Guatemala; guests are invited to process into the sanctuary singing \u201cHosanna, Loud Hosanna\u201d. The service will also include a congregational reading of the Passion Story. Pastor Carolyn Gillette\u2019s sermon will be \u201cThis is Jesus\u201d, and the Chancel Choir will sing \u201cHosanna in the Streets.\u201d The One Great Hour of<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Sharing Offering will be dedicated to support relief efforts in the USA and overseas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The April 14 Maundy Thursday worship service will begin at 7 p.m. and will include the sacrament of the Lord\u2019s Supper. Pastor Bruce Gillette\u2019s sermon is \u201cIn Remembrance of Me.\u201d The Contemporary Choir\u2019s anthem will be \u201cBehold the Lamb\u201d and the offertory will be \u201cNear the Cross.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">On April 15, the ecumenical Good Friday worship service will be at 7 p.m. at the Owego United Methodist Church, with short meditations by local pastors on the seven last words of Jesus on the cross. Pastors Bruce and Carolyn Gillette will be sharing homilies on the first and second words.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">On Easter Sunday, April 17, a Sunrise Service will take place at Terry and Ginny Hills\u2019 home, located at 2382 Bodle Hill Rd. in Owego, for worship, food and fellowship. The service, led by Pastor Carolyn Gillette and Stuart Rogers, is scheduled to begin at approximately 6:15 a.m. on the Hills\u2019 deck, so dress for the weather.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Easter Worship Service with the Lord\u2019s Supper will be at 10 a.m., celebrating Jesus\u2019 resurrection that gives us everlasting life. Pastor Bruce Gillette\u2019s sermon will be \u201cI Have Seen the Lord\u201d, based on Matthew 28:1-10.
