{"id":82149,"date":"2020-11-14T06:03:30","date_gmt":"2020-11-14T11:03:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.owegopennysaver.com\/PS\/?p=82149"},"modified":"2020-11-14T06:03:30","modified_gmt":"2020-11-14T11:03:30","slug":"home-central-raises-dollars-through-its-round-up-for-extension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.owegopennysaver.com\/PS\/2020\/11\/14\/home-central-raises-dollars-through-its-round-up-for-extension\/","title":{"rendered":"Home Central raises dollars through its \u2018Round Up for Extension\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Local hardware and home improvement retail store, Home Central, recently partnered with Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) with a \u201cRound Up for Extension\u201d charity initiative throughout the entire month of October.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Guests were able to round up their total purchase to the next dollar amount and donate their change to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County, a resource that looks to make an impact on educating farmers, families and children in the community.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To provide double the impact and support for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County, Home Central also matched all customer donations made over the course of the month.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Between the Owego and Candor store, over $2,000 was raised to assist CCE in their efforts.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County provides research and experience-based educational programs to help residents build individual, family, farm and community resilience.
