The Black Cat Gallery will be celebrating the First Friday in September with music and libations on Sept. 7, and welcomes the community to join them! <\/p>\n

Entertainment for First Friday at the Black Cat Gallery, an event that begins at 6 p.m. in downtown Owego, is \u201cTriton Trio\u201d. <\/p>\n

Triton Trio is the husband-wife duet of Tom and Marie on guitar and bass, and banjo wizard R. J. Siegers. Tom and Marie play acoustic covers of popular music from the 60\u2019s and 70\u2019s and R. J. is versatile and original on the 5-string banjo.<\/p>\n

Together the Triton Trio puts out a sound that is sure to delight and entertain. The Black Cat Gallery\u2019s artist of September is Matt Karp. Matt is a forester, and a finder of beautiful burl wood that is turned into boxes, striking tables, and cabinets. Matt\u2019s pieces are functional and he creates woodwork with decorative inlay in dark and lightwoods. <\/p>\n

The Black Cat Gallery is looking for artists to join their talented group. Stop in for an application and follow them on Facebook for the latest creations of jewelry, textiles, pottery, art and much more.<\/p>\n
