Answer: Yes! Any option is better than declawing. The glue and caps applied to the nails are safe if ingested and help protect anything your kitty will scratch.<\/p>\n
When applying the Soft Paws clip your cat’s nails first to get them short. Apply a small amount of glue to the inside of each cap and slide onto the clipped nail. Make sure if your kitty is longhaired that you pull back the hair around the nail. If any gets glued into the cap, do your best to remove it because as the nail grows, it will pull on the hair and cause pain. <\/p>\n
As the nail grows the caps will eventually fall off, in four to six weeks. This is definitely a safe option for your fur-baby! <\/p>\n
