With warmer weather quickly approaching, Tioga Downs is pleased to announce its 2018 summer concert series lineup that kicks off with country star Chris Janson. Five major concerts are part of the 2018 summer schedule that begins on Thursday, May 31 and ends Sunday, Sept. 2. The 2018 concert series is sponsored by Mirabito.<\/p>\n

Chris Janson will perform at Tioga Downs at 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 31. Just last week, the charismatic country artist joined the ranks of the genre\u2019s greatest musicians when he was inducted into the prestigious Grand Ole Opry. The Platinum-selling performer is expected to grace the stage at Tioga Downs with his chart-topping hits \u201c<\/i>Buy Me a Boat\u201d and \u201cFix A Drink,\u201d along with his current single \u201cDrunk Girl.\u201d Ticket prices for this concert begin at $20.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, June 28, fans will get a taste of true rock and roll courtesy of Eddie Money. The legendary rocker\u2019s performance is expected to include his timeless and unforgettable hits \u201cTake Me Home Tonight\u201d \u201cShakin\u2019\u201d and \u201cTwo Tickets to Paradise.\u201d The show kicks off at 8 p.m. Tioga State Bank is proudly sponsoring this performance. Ticket prices begin at $20. <\/p>\n

Wynonna and The Big Noise will perform a special benefit concert to benefit the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group on Saturday, July 28 at 8:00 p.m. Grammy-nominated country artist Wynonna will give the crowd at Tioga Downs an unforgettable experience delivering hits from her debut album with her new band, The Big Noise. All ticket sales will be donated to the organization and in addition, Tioga Downs\u2019 owner Jeff Gural has generously pledged to match all ticket proceeds. Tickets are available for $15 each.<\/p>\n

The Beach Boys, one of the most successful and iconic rock groups of all time, will take the stage at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7. Since 1961, the band has been delivering songs that have stood the test of time, like \u201cWouldn\u2019t It Be Nice\u201d “Good Vibrations\u201d and \u201cCalifornia Girls\u201d. The Beach Boys have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands in world history. Tickets start at $40.<\/p>\n

The summer concert series will go out with a bang, wrapping up with a Labor Day weekend performance from Michael Bolton. The show will be held at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2. The music legend has claimed two Grammy awards, six American Music Awards and has sold 75 million records worldwide over the course of his career. He\u2019s expected to perform hits like \u201cHow Am I Supposed to Live Without You\u201d \u201cSteel Bars\u201d and \u201cHow Can We Be Lovers.\u201d Tickets start at $20. <\/p>\n

Tickets for the five concerts in this star-studded lineup will be on sale starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27 in the Tioga Downs gift shop and online at tiogadowns.com<\/a> and ticketmaster.com<\/a>. <\/p>\n
