The Owego VFW Post 1371 will host a 75th Anniversary celebration and appreciation of Past and Present Officers of the Post, Auxiliaries and Jr. Girls on July 8, at the Post Home at 207 Main St. in Owego. Although some of the bodies of membership have transitioned or concluded, this Post stands today and continues to thrive due to the dedicated efforts of those, past and present, who have served as leaders. <\/p>\n
Post 1371 wants to invite all members to attend. Tickets can be purchased for $8.00 per person (for anyone who has not been an officer of the Post or Auxiliary in the past) at the Canteen or by calling Jean Sabol at (607) 687-2069 or Joan Vassil at (607) 687-5233 to reserve your seats. Reservations must be received by July. <\/p>\n
If you are a past officer of any office within Post 1371, you are invited to be their honored guest for dinner. If your invitation has not reached you, or they have outdated contact information for you, please inform them no later than July 1 and confirm your reservations for the celebration. <\/p>\n
Dress is semi-formal and Overseas Caps are recommended if convenient.
