With more than 25 million in career album sales, of which seven albums are certified platinum or higher, as well as a lengthy list of hit singles and several number ones, Tritt\u2019s distinguished, long-standing career is a remarkable success story. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Often referred to as one of the \u201cClass of \u201989,\u201d Tritt launched his music career alongside country music greats such as Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson, all of whom dominated the charts in the 1990\u2019s. Tritt, a Marietta, Georgia native, takes significant influence from Southern rock, blues and gospel music, which sets him apart from his \u201989 classmates. Another distinctive quality, unlike many of his fellow country stars, you won\u2019t find Tritt sporting a signature cowboy hat. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Via an interview shared by his public relations firm, Tritt shared, \u201cOne of the things that has kept me going all of these years is that my voice doesn\u2019t sound like anybody else\u2019s, and people recognize my voice immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When asked what fans should expect at his show, Tritt described the experience as, \u201cWe play nothing but solid hits going back to 1989 until today, and fans really enjoy that. On stage there is nothing that gives more satisfaction than to see fans sing every single song and know all of the lyrics by heart. That\u2019s a really cool thing to see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tritt also mentioned that he is grateful that his catalog of songs brings back memories for fans. Tritt said, \u201cYou can remember certain events in your life by the soundtrack playing, and we\u2019ve been able to have a lot of hit records that takes fans back to a special place in their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tritt has performed at several sporting events such as the Super Bowl and World Series, among others, and has also had an incredible career outside of music, too, most notably acting in several movies and television series, along with writing soundtracks to movies and narrating films.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A priority for Tritt is to balance family and life on the road. Tritt explained, \u201cWhen we book tours and concerts, I always try to block time out for special days. I haven\u2019t missed a holiday or birthday party,\u201d and referring to his wife and three children, added, \u201cTo be at home with family gives me the best of both worlds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When asked about his longevity in the music business, Tritt said, \u201cI consider myself to be extremely fortunate. When it first got started, I couldn\u2019t have imagined it could have gone as far as it has. I\u2019m blessed, thankful and humbled to still be able to go out and do it.
