Since it opened up on May 25, Bike Night in Owego has had record attendance for the first two weeks of the season.<\/p>\n

The opening night began in traditional fashion with the singing of the national anthem by Owego\u2019s own Andrea McBride, and then a performance by the Tim Ruffo Band.<\/p>\n

Last week\u2019s music was provided by Hummel\u2019s Jug. Members Gene Hummel, Chad Dean, and Bob Niederriter rocked the crowd at Bike Night with their Southern Rock style combined with a bit of country.<\/p>\n

Also on hand were family and friends of Tonya King, who was killed on a motorcycle on Memorial Day in Owego. Family members, related to Tonya King\u2019s husband, along with friends, are raising money to assist the family following this tragic accident.<\/p>\n

This Wednesday, L\u2019Ectric Brew will take the stage from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for Bike Night. L\u2019Ectric Brew will provide a blend of classic rock and blues.<\/p>\n

Bike Night runs every Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. in downtown Owego, and at the Parkview Hotel and Restaurant. The event is open to the community.<\/p>\n
