Tully\u2019s Good Times Restaurants has teamed up with JDRF Central New York to raise money through the month of February at all Tully\u2019s restaurants in Syracuse, Rochester, Batavia, Buffalo and Vestal, N.Y.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a company-wide effort by us to raise money for the local JDRF – to cure Type 1 Diabetes,\u201d said Sam Bregande, from Tully\u2019s Good Times. \u201cThis year\u2019s baseball theme, Strike Out Diabetes features three ways to raise money for the cause.\u201d<\/p>\n
Every day through February, Tully\u2019s wait staff will be selling blue Tully\u2019s \/ JDRF wristbands for one dollar. Every Tuesday, Tully\u2019s will donate ten percent of the sales from Original, Buffalo and Asian Tender dinners and Healthy Menu entrees. The proceeds will go directly to JDRF Central New York. Lastly, they will be accepting donations that may be added to a customer\u2019s bill during their meal at Tully\u2019s Good Times.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is our way of partnering with a great diabetes fighting cause where most of the money goes to local programs. And local is very important to Tully\u2019s.\u201d Bregande added.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is our first partnership with Tully\u2019s,\u201d agreed Liz Krisanda, associate executive director from JDRF Central New York. \u201cWe think the three strike combination that they have created will be very effective in raising donations.\u201d<\/p>\n
