If you have ever wanted to be a part of a live photo shoot, then Sunday, Dec. 6 is your opportunity to follow and watch as many as twenty-five professional, semi-professional and local models go through the excitement of getting ready for the red carpet runway followed by a photo shoot at various locations in downtown Owego.<\/p>\n
Event coordinator, Theresa Lepkowski, owner of Lily Style Loft, a women\u2019s clothing store located at 32-34 Lake St. in Owego, N.Y. is excited to host the event, and hopes it will offer visitors and shoppers a unique way to enjoy a slice of a big-apple-style photo shoot, while also enjoying the day shopping at the many shops and merchants open in Owego for the holiday season.<\/p>\n
Professional photographer and photojournalist, Ronald Evans, from Binghamton, N.Y., will be the event photographer. Evans, also a sports photographer at Lifetouch and official photographer for Rhonda\u2019s Rockabilly Pin Ups, will use various locations for scenic backgrounds, such as the Court Street Bridge, the Riverwalk and Front Street Deck, along Lake and Front Streets, among others, and will take group and individual shots of the models throughout the day.<\/p>\n
Visitors are invited to stop by Lily Style Loft to capture all of the behind-the-scenes action and watch models prepare their hair and make-up and select wardrobe and accessories prior to the official red carpet walk at 10 a.m. Models will showcase and model selected fashions from Lily Style Loft as well as gowns and other fashions from Sweet Valley Bridal & More. Accessories will be provided by several area merchants.<\/p>\n
New York City Fashion Week model, Gabriella, will be participating at the event. The face of \u201cSunglass Hut\u201d stores and an experienced model walking runways in New York and London, Gabriella is also the daughter of the editor of World Fashion Media News, who is promoting the event in Owego.<\/p>\n
Evans shared, \u201cWorld Fashion Media News is the best in the business.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the later part of the day, Lily Style Loft will offer visitors hors-d\u2019oeuvres and refreshments at the Lake Street store.<\/p>\n
