The Ti-Ahwaga Community Players will present Philip Grecian\u2019s adaptation of Jean Shepherd\u2019s \u201cA Christmas Story\u201d on\u00a0Dec. 4, 5 and 6,\u00a0and\u00a0Dec. 11, 12, and 13 at the Ti-Ahwaga Performing Arts Center, 42 Delphine St., Owego, N.Y.<\/p>\n
This stage adaptation of the Ralphie Parker – \u201cYou\u2019ll Shoot your eye out kid\u201d classic movie, has become a Holiday tradition for many families in the region. This year\u2019s run marks Ti-Ahwaga\u2019s fourteenth annual production of \u201cA Christmas Story\u201d. There will be some new faces, and some familiar faces, on Cleveland Street in Hohman, Indiana, living through Ralphie Parker\u2019s quest to finally receive that coveted Red Ryder BB gun!<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s cast includes Todd Smith as Ralph (the narrator), Logan Smith as the Old Man, Peggy Medina as Mother, Adam Ackerman as Ralphie, John Paul Kidney as Randy, Gordon Wu as Scut, Skyler Kwiatkowski as Flick, Cameron Cole as Schwartz, Nadia Murphy as Esther Jane, Kendra Katchuk as Helen, and Linda Fenescey as Miss Shields.<\/p>\n
As with all of Ti-Ahwaga\u2019s productions, a delicious assortment of wines, beers, other beverages, snacks and desserts are provided with table service prior to the show and during intermission. If you have not already done so, make this funny and festive show a Holiday tradition for you and your family.<\/p>\n
Shows start at\u00a08 p.m. on\u00a0Friday\u00a0and\u00a0Saturday\u00a0and at\u00a02:00 p.m. on Sunday. General admission is $20, $18.00 for seniors 60 and older and students (including college age with a student id), and $10 for children 12 and under.<\/p>\n
