The weather for Bike Night at Owego\u2019s Parkview Hotel and Restaurant has held out so far this year, with a variety of bands arrive to perform for guests every Wednesday evening, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and sound being provided by Mark Bennett from Shark Audio.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, June 24, a neighboring band from Pennsylvania, The Spexxx, arrived to perform some older rock for guests. As always, there were motorcycles lining Front Street in Owego for the event, with some new machines arriving that were catching a few glances.<\/p>\n

Next week, July 1, a local band, Spelunkers, will perform at Bike Night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

In Owego, N.Y. during the summer of 2004 a band, Spelunkers, was born. This band weaves a groovy sound with thoughtful lyrics and poignant musicianship.<\/p>\n

In this sound you will hear the drum styling\u2019s of singer\/songwriter Tom Sheehy paired with the hand drumming of Tony Montana, and the bass slapping of Ryan Marchewka and the guitar wielding of Jim Gale – completed with keyboard \/ guitar \/ singer \/ songwriter Tom Sickler.<\/p>\n

The Spelunkers have played venues throughout the Northeast. Ranging from full size 1,500-plus sized venues to your local homegrown taverns. The band always reserves time to perform at charitable and community events as well as private parties and festivals.<\/p>\n
