During the First Friday Art Walk, April 3 from 6 to 9 p.m., the Black Cat Gallery will feature the music of Jim Meckley and Nate Kaiser, pictured.<\/p><\/div>\n

The spring of 2015 brings great pride and excitement as The Black Cat Gallery celebrates five years in business. The Black Cat Gallery is offering the Community Cat Contest back to help celebrate! The Black Cat Gallery invites the community to bring in a photo, a drawing, a poem, or artwork of your special cat. Bring in your entry from March through April to the Black Cat. The entries will be on display at the Black Cat Gallery through April.<\/p>\n

During the First Friday Art Walk, April 3 from 6 to 9 p.m., the Black Cat Gallery will feature the music of Jim Meckley and Nate Kaiser, a local group playing a mellow mix of rock and popular blends. All are welcome.<\/p>\n

Featured Artist of the Month for April is Carol Freije. Her soft, impressionistic style is seen in her paintings of everyday life.<\/p>\n

Also, the Black Cat Gallery offers a \u201cSecond Saturday Craft Class and Tea\u201d. Enjoy learning a new craft with a basic jewelry making class on Saturday, April 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants will make a pair of earrings or a necklace. Choose your own bead combination and take home your own creation. Class fee is $15 and includes instruction and supplies. Call 687-5550 to reserve your spot for the class.<\/p>\n
