On March 8, the Candor St. Baldrick’s event was buzzing with the sound of hair clippers.\u00a0The event has raised over $26,000 so far for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Thirty-six heads were shaved and hundreds came out to support them with their shave and to purchase raffle tickets and food.<\/p>\n

This year we had the privilege of having four \u201cHonor Kids\u201d at the event – Brody Hines, Samantha Rice, Tyler Everts and Logan Abbey; and\u00a0two “Honor Parents\u201d,\u00a0Jim and Eva Robinson and Christine Brouwer Hinman.<\/p>\n

Among the new bald heads in the community are: Joan Bartlett, Jill Parillo, Kelly Starkweather, Zachary Watson, Tom Cole, Dan Starkweather, Cole Strong, Bonnie Lovejoy, Marissa Consalvi, Trey Naughton, Lou Heavenrich, Ian Gallagher, Rich Perkins, Nathaniel Gordner, Kevin McCall, Cathy Allen, Cheryl Adams, Anna Denise Robinson, Leighton Mulvaney, Seth McBride, Marvin Roberts, Marissa Slocum, Zach Wilt, Benjamin Miller, Duane Setzer, Trez Murray, Jamison Thompson, David Brown, Jamie Thompson, Ellie Theurer, Trevor Abbey, Arthur Lundgren, Jeb Parillo, Amy Parillo, Rhonda Weeks and Caleb Vaow.<\/p>\n
