It was reported this week, and confirmed by the Schoharie County Court that the third Murder trial for Calvin Harris, which was set to begin in September, has been delayed until Jan. 7, 2015.<\/p>\n

Calvin Harris, of Spencer, N.Y., has been convicted twice of murdering his wife, Michele Harris, with the first conviction overturned when Kevin Tubbs, a witness who testified he saw Michelle Harris after she was allegedly murdered by Calvin Harris, came forward; and then the second conviction was overturned by the State Court of Appeals, and a new trial scheduled. That trial is now being postponed.<\/p>\n

Wealthy New York businessman Cal Harris\u2019 estranged wife, Michele Harris, disappeared during the night of Sept. 11, 2001, while most of the world was focused on the terrorist attacks earlier that day.\u00a0 Since then, Calvin Harris has been tried and convicted twice of murdering Michele Harris, with both convictions now overturned.<\/p>\n

Michele Harris\u2019 body has never been found.\u00a0She was last seen Sept. 11, 2001 leaving her waitress job in Waverly, N.Y.<\/p>\n

Because of the polarization and publicity surrounding both trials, which were held in the Tioga County Courthouse, a change in venue was granted, and the trial has been moved to Schoharie County, near Albany, where the jury pool is less likely to have heard about the well-publicized case.<\/p>\n
