The inaugural Ryan S. Bunce Memorial Golf Tournament will take place Aug. 15, 2026 at the Golf Club at Owego.<\/p>\n<p>Tioga County Sheriff\u2019s Office employees and their families are coordinating the tournament, in partnership with the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Memorial Association. The organizers hope this can be an annual fundraising event.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/d28r85ckdoaa46.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/06\/27065316\/Benefit3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-110367 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/d28r85ckdoaa46.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/06\/27065316\/Benefit3.jpg\" alt=\"Golf Tournament Planned in Honor of Late Tioga County Investigator\" width=\"500\" height=\"625\" srcset=\"http:\/\/d28r85ckdoaa46.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/06\/27065316\/Benefit3.jpg 500w, http:\/\/d28r85ckdoaa46.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/06\/27065316\/Benefit3-240x300.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>This year\u2019s proceeds will benefit his young children, Everleigh and Colter, and will support the Ryan Bunce Memorial Scholarship at Spencer Van-Etten High School. Dedicated to a passionate outdoorsman, this scholarship supports student athletes who also show passion for hunting and the great outdoors.<\/p>\n<p>Bunce, of Spencer, was hired by the Tioga County Sheriff\u2019s Office in 2014 and promoted to Investigator in 2021.
