Stray Haven Pet of the Week

Hi everyone! My name is Tulip, I’m an older lady, but I still have a lot of spunk! I came into the shelter as a stray, so the staff doesn’t know a whole lot about me except that I was in pretty poor condition when I got here. I was very underweight, I had a skin infection and really bad ear infections.

Since I’ve been here I’ve gained some weight, and my skin and ear infections are finally starting to clear up, but it’ll be a couple more weeks before I can get spayed.

If you ask the other dogs what their favorite thing to do at the shelter is, they’ll say to run around in the yard. Don’t get me wrong, I like some yard time, but my favorite part is to get some pets from the staff and then lie in my bed. I also love car rides! Being in the car is the best part of the few vet check-ups that I’ve had.

If you would like to learn more about me and maybe have some couch time, stop by Stray Haven so we can get to know each other. See you soon!
