Volunteers bring flowers to Riverview Manor

It’s a simple formula for extending gratitude and thankfulness. On Saturday, Nov. 23, family volunteers from the Charles H. Bassett Youth Foundation brought seniors in the Riverview Manor facility fresh flowers to brighten their day and living space.

In a press release, the foundation wrote, “This was a wonderful and fun spirit lifting service project across generations, helping to ensure that our elders are remembered, honored and not forgotten during Thanksgiving week. Let’s never forget that senior members of the community need our love and support.”

Thanks were extended to Patti and Doc Halliday, Allison and Christian Freyli, and the Charles H. Basset Youth Foundation for making this Owego Family Volunteer Project a great success.
